We’re delighted to share that the Wealthtime Foundation has donated £2,500 to Off the Record (OTR), a local charity that provides mental health and wellbeing support for young people across Bath and North East Somerset.

The Wealthtime Foundation trustees were all in agreement to support this fantastic local charity to help it continue its vital work. Off the Record gives young people a safe place to talk, access support and build resilience during what can often be some of the most challenging times in their lives.

Helping more young people get the support they need

Off the Record told us that a donation of £1,000 can fund 100 twenty-minute listening support sessions, providing young people with a safe space to be heard and supported.

Thanks to the Foundation’s larger donation, the charity will also be able to invest in additional training for its therapists, helping to expand and strengthen the support it offers. The funding will also contribute towards the development of services for parents and carers who may be worried about a young person’s mental health and wellbeing.

This means our donation won’t just support more young people today, it will also help Off the Record continue to grow and develop its services for the future.

One of the Wealthtime Foundation’s goals is to support organisations that help people thrive and create stronger, healthier communities. Off the Record stood out to us, as their commitment to supporting young people’s mental health and providing a safe space to be heard aligns perfectly with what the Foundation hopes to achieve.

We’re proud to support a charity that is making such a meaningful difference to the lives of young people and their families, and we’re thrilled to be helping them continue their vital work.”

Toby Larkman, Managing Director

Off the Record shared their thanks with the Foundation, saying:

“At a time when referrals to our listening and counselling service have increased significantly over the last year, we are deeply grateful for Wealthtime’s support. Their generous donation will fund 100 twenty-minute listening sessions and therapist training to enhance our young-person centred practice. With their help, we can respond to the growing youth mental health crisis and give young people a safe space where they can feel heard and find a way forward.”
